Griffins Sports Club is one of the oldest malayali cricket clubs in the UK having originally formed in 2008. Our aim is to promote enjoyment of the game of cricket within the community. Cricket is a fantastic sport that can be enjoyed by people of all age and abilities.
In 2015, Griffins launched 10 over Big Bash cricket tournament – a fast paced on field cricket. This tournament was a non-stop entertainment from start to finish, with something to keep everyone in the family entertained, which is similar to Australian Big Bash.
In 2010, Griffins won Malayalee Cricket League. The success continued and in 2015 we won Haywards Heath T20 championship. We had success stories in Portsmouth T/20 Champions 2011(shared), Malayalee Cricket League Cup Winners 2012 and Southampton T/20 Champions 2012.
Griffins Sports Club always has been the foremost promoter of cricket in the community.
