Griffins won against Challengers by 163 runs at Boston Manor on Saturday. Batting first Griffins put a decent score on the board to all out for 230. With an outstanding team effort, Griffins managed to bowl out Challengers for a low score.
London Desperados clinched a thrilling 2 runs victory against BMCC on Saturday at Watford. Batting first Desperados scored 191 all out. From 75 for 7 wickets desperados came back strogly with the help of Jijin & Vishanth both scoring half centuries. In reply BMCC were 160 for 3 in 16 overs cruising to victory but Anil came to bowl and took 7 wickets for 12 runs to bowl out BMCC for 189. What an outstanding twist in the game. Well done Desperados.
MCC beat London Sports Club by 143 runs in Hainault on Saturday. Batting first MCC were down to 36 for 6 wickets, but a brilliant half century by Biju K studied their innings to avoid a collapse. Later LSC were all out for low score.
London Strikers beat Martians by 4 wickets at Fairlop on Saturday. Batting first Martians were all out for 116. Young Janish Pillai took 7 wickets including the first hatrick of the season. Martians fought back later by taking early wickets but once again Janish who scored a magnificent half century joined with experienced Amjith to take strikers over the line.
Aztecs CC lost to Panthers by 6 wickets on Sunday at Hainault. Batting first Aztecs were all out for 95. Panthers convincingly reached the target with the loss of 4 wickets. Midlaj scored a half century for Panthers.
