LSL Cricket League 2019 started on last Saturday with 5 weekend games on Saturday and Sunday on various venues.

Defending Champions Challengers CC lost to Martians by 3 wickets in the opening encounter at Fairlop Oak playing fields on Saturday in a close contest. Martians successfully chased the reasonable total of 217 in 36 overs with the help of a brilliant half century by Nasweeph.
BMCC beat Griffins convincingly by 5 wickets at Peter May sports centre on Saturday. Openers Dijo scored a brilliant half century and Krishnaraj unbeaten on 45 runs to overcome the modest target 136 set by Griffins earlier. Anooj J V took 5 wickets for Griffins.
London Sports Club beat Panthers by 6 wickets at Hainault recreation ground on Saturday. An all-round performance by Mothasim Ali who took 35 runs and 2 wickets for 27 helped LSC to register their first win of the season.
London Strikers lost to new comers Thunder Boys by 33 runs at St Chads Park on Saturday. An all-round performance by Dixon Raj who took 40 runs and 2 wickets for 19 helped Thunder Boys to start their journey in LSL with a victory in the first game.
New comers Desperados beat another new comers Aztecs for 4 wickets on Sunday at St Chads Park. Once again and all-round performance by Satish Nadar who took 30 runs and 3 wickets for 12 steered Desperados to victory in their opening game in LSL.
