London Professionals CC registered their first victory in the league outplaying Panthers SC in all aspects of the game. Thanks to their coach and ace player Arun Parameswaran for his all-round performance with the ball (3/18) and unbeaten (39*). Congratulation…well done LPCC.
Challengers recorded their second victory convincingly beating MCC by 5 Wickets. Excellent bowling performance from Jeevan Jyothi (4/28) and Elias Joy (3/26) followed by unbeaten batting display by Stanley Varghese (64*) and Abhilash Mathew (41*). Aghilan Thamarakulam (63) and Dileep Pattattu (40) held the innings together for MCC to reach a decent total on the board.
Martians put an end to London Strikers unbeaten run with a well-executed team game plan to jump up to 3rd place on the points table. Brilliant bowling display by Binu Valloran followed by all round performance from Vijay Srinivasan (50* runs & 2/22) & Mithun MG (53*) remained unbeaten to seal a convincing victory for Martians.
