This year sees the 7th anniversary since Bedford Malayalee Cricket Club was formed. In 2012, BMCC took its shape when a group of people from Malayalee community initiated by Mr. Sabu Kakassery Joined hands for the spirit of cricket.
BMCC joined Bedfordshire district cricket league in 2012 in division 4 and ended up being the division champion of the league. Continued to progress each division every year, BMCC played in the premier league in 2016. After triumphing the league and making the name for itself in the league BMCC joined London Sports League (LSL) in the initial year and was crowned the maiden champions of LSL in both 40 over and T20 formats of the game in 2017.
2019 season marks the 3rd year of BMCC in LSL attracting players from Bedford and many other surrounding places near and far including Luton, Kettering and Peterborough. BMCC fields teams for both 40 over and T20 formats.
BMCC has now grown beyond the limit of its community and is inclusive of players who love cricket from other communities too.
