London Sports League are proud to welcome the veteran cricketers from Kerala including former Ranji Trophy captains, players, KCA and BCCI officials to UK for their 3 match T20 tour. 3 games were scheduled for the tourists on various venues around London.
VCAK won the first game convincingly against Palm Tree CC at Mill Hill on Wednesday. Batting first VCAK scored 195 in 20 overs while Palm Tree CC were bowled out for 125. Thanks to former Ranji trophy all rounder Ramprakash who scored 60 runs and took 5 wickets.
Unfortunately, the second game scheduled against NCL at Frenford Club, Ilford was washed out due to bad weather conditions.
VCKA won the final game against LSL on Saturday 20th July at Hainault Recreation Ground. Batting first LSL scored 120 in 15 overs, but VCKA chased the target convincingly in 10 overs. Thanks to man of the match Santhosh Koshi who scored a brilliant half century.
LSL members clubs and players were present at the venues to support both teams during the game.
Big thanks to LSL cricket development team led by Arun Parameshwaran, Anooj Syamala & Sreejesh K R who worked hard to co-ordinate these events and support the visitors throughout their stay in the UK.
