Defending Champions Challengers CC beat Panthers by 8 runs on a freezing and windy day at Fairlop Oak playing fields on Saturday in a close contest. Binu Raj scored a patient half century for challengers while Siraj Mukriyan’s quick fire half century was not enough panthers to get over the line.
BMCC beat Thunder Boys convincingly by 9 wickets at St. Chad’s Park on Saturday. BMCC managed to bowl out Thunder boys for a modest total and comfortably chased for one wicket loss.
London Sports Club beat Griffins by 3 wickets at Hainault recreation ground on Saturday. Ameer Mehfil took 5 wickets for LSC to bowl out Griffins for 110. LSC comfortably chased the target later.
In a low scoring game at St Chad’s Park on Sunday Martians vs Aztecs CC match ended up in a tie. Aztecs CC bowled out Martians for a modest total of 80 runs while Martians replied strongly to bowl out Aztecs for the same score.
