BMCC won against London Strikers on Saturday at Bedford. Batting first, London Strikers started well, but lost quick wickets in the middle overs to bowl out for 150. Binoy Joseph took 5 wickets for BMCC while Riju George took 3 wickets. Roshan Vincent and Binoy Joseph steadied BMCC innings to chase the target comfortably.
Another game played on Saturday at Fairlop where MCC beat Martians by a huge margin. Chasing a good target set by MCC, Martians lost their early wickets to excellent bowling by Justin Thomas (5 wickets including a hat-trick) and Vynil Nair (4 wickets) and bowled out for a low score. Earlier Aghilan Thamarakulam and Captain Praveen Kumar scored half centuries for MCC.
Challengers’s unbeaten run this year ended at Mill Hill on Sunday as they were beaten by Panthers for 4 wickets. Batting first, Challengers bowled out for a relatively small total by Midlaj Mukriyan (4 Wickets) and Siraj Mukriyan (2 Wickets). Later Jaseem Manayamthodi scored a fine half century for Panthers to take them home comfortably.
