Martians continued their winning run with a huge margin (182 runs) against MCC to move to 2nd place on points table. Big thanks to Sajeev Parameswaran (163 runs) for his maiden century, the highest individual score in LSL. Aghilan Thamarakulam (61). Sreekumar Chandran (Kiji) (4/49) & Zaibakash Mohammed (3/40) contributed well for MCC.
Bedford Malayalee CC remained unbeaten on yet another outing beating London Professionals CC by 145 runs with the help of Binoy Joseph (58) & Sreekumar Ullappillil (40) with the bat and Jobin George (3/25) & Ancil Thomas (2/18) with the ball.
Challengers beat Panthers SC in a close contest by 21 runs. Thanks to Binu Raj for his all round performance 70 runs & 3/33. Panthers captain Midlaj Mukriyan scored 37 and took 3 wickets for 37 runs.
LSL cricket season is half way through now with 10 more weeks of outdoor cricket remaining. We have seen some exciting cricket so far and the championship is still open to anyone as it is the points table.
