Weekend 6 witnessed some close contests…
London Strikers registered their first victory of the league against Challengers by 29 runs with an excellent team performance in a close finish. Responsible innings with the bat by Captain Riyaz Khan and Vijay Krishnan while Shiya Muhammed and Jijin KV restricted the opposition with the ball.
In another close contest, Bedford MCC won their second game against Panthers SC by 19 Runs. Thanks to Nasweeph Kuttiyan for his brilliant all round performance of 49 runs with the bat and 3/20 with the ball to outplay an outstanding bowling performance of Navas Mohammed of Panthers SC 6/34 and all round show by captain Midlaj Mukriyan.
Convincing victory for MCC against London Professionals by 61 runs with the help of an outstanding all round performance by Dileep Narayanan scoring 39 runs and an outstanding bowling figure of 5/39.
